Boat plan, to scale
Liveaboard sailboat or motorboat: cabin, saloon, galley, cockpit.
The plan opens on "Hull", an irregular 9-sided outline of 20.87 m² (225 sq ft) with no right angle: the proof that nothing forces you into a rectangle. Its line (line) is 4 cm thick. Already in place: v-berth, sailboat mast, saloon (table and settees), galley, chart table, companionway…
No account needed, right away.
How to use it
- The bow is on the left. Move the hull's points to give it its real shape.
- Place the forward berth, the saloon, the galley and the chart table.
- Add the engine, tanks and batteries as close to the centre of the boat as possible.
What Planimonde calculates for this plan
- The length of each side, written along the line and corrected with one click.
- The area of each closed outline and of each zone you mark out.
- Wall thickness: your measurements apply to the inside, the outside or the centre line, as you choose.
- The closing gap when on-site measurements contradict each other, and where it lies.
- The clearance to leave in front of each item, to suggest other layouts without overlap.
- The scale of the PDF, with a reference bar to check with a ruler once the page is printed.
