Terms of use

Last updated: October 4, 2026

By using Planimonde, you accept these terms. They are written to be read.

1. The service

Planimonde is an online tool for drawing plans to scale from your own measurements: lots, rooms, venues, stages, vehicles. It is operated by 9567-9809 Québec inc., 300-204, rue du Saint-Sacrement, Montréal (Québec) H2Y 1W8. To reach us: bonjour@planimonde.com.

You can draw without an account; your plans then stay in your browser. A free account is used to keep them online and to buy credits.

2. Your plans are not official documents

A plan made with Planimonde is a drawing you produce yourself. It is neither a certificate of location, nor a land surveyor's plan, nor an architect's or engineer's plan. It does not establish a boundary, does not certify an area and does not demonstrate that a structure complies with a by-law, a code or a standard.

We offer no warranty as to the accuracy or regulatory compliance of plans and calculations. The Plans and the law page explains what a self-made plan can be used for.

3. Your account

You must be at least 14 years old to open an account. Give an email that is yours, keep your password to yourself and tell us if you believe someone else is using it. You are responsible for what is done from your account.

4. Credits and payments

Nothing in these terms limits the rights granted to you by Québec's Consumer Protection Act.

5. Your content

Your plans are yours. You only give us permission to store, display and process them in order to provide the service. They are private by default: nobody else sees them unless you share them yourself. When you create a share link, anyone who has the link can see the plan; you can withdraw the link.

You are responsible for what you put in your plans, including information about other people (the name of a neighbour or a co-owner, for example).

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

7. Availability

We do our best to keep the service accessible and your plans safe, without being able to promise that it will never be interrupted. Keep a copy of your important plans: every plan can be exported. The "Site status" page reports incidents.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Planimonde is not liable for damages arising from the use of a plan or a calculation: work carried out from a plan, a dispute, a refused permit, a measurement error, a loss of data. Its liability is limited to the amounts you paid during the previous twelve months.

9. End of service

You may stop using Planimonde and delete your account at any time, from "My account". We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, after notifying you where possible.

If we had to end the service, we would notify you at least thirty days in advance so that you could export your plans, and we would refund credits that were purchased and not spent.

10. Changes to these terms

The date at the top of the page changes with every update. A significant change is announced by email to account holders at least thirty days before it takes effect.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and the laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Québec.
