Frequently asked questions
Is this an official plan?
No. A Planimonde plan is a scale drawing made from your own measurements. It is neither a certificate of location nor a plan by a land surveyor, an architect or an engineer. It is for agreeing, planning and explaining; to establish a boundary or sign off on a structure, you need the professional.
Do I need an account?
Not to draw: the editor opens right away and your plans stay in your browser. A free account, with an email and a password, is used to keep your plans online and to buy credits.
What does exporting cost?
Exporting is free: the PDF, the image and the SVG then carry a "Made with Planimonde" watermark. One credit unlocks a plan: its exports are then watermark-free, forever. The price is shown before you spend anything.
Are my plans private?
Yes, by default. Without an account, they never leave your browser. With an account, they are kept on a server in Canada and only you have access to them, unless you share them yourself. We sell no data and the site shows no advertising.
What if I close the tab?
The plan saves itself in the browser at every change. You will find it again when you come back on the same device; to find it elsewhere, create an account.
Does it work on a phone?
The site, the tools and the examples, yes. The editor also opens on a phone, but it is designed first for a computer screen or a tablet: that is where drawing is most comfortable.
