Plan to scale

Bathroom floor plan: every inch counts

In a bathroom, a vanity four inches wider can block the door. A plan drawn to scale says so before the work starts.

Give the room’s measurements, place the bathtub or the shower, the toilet and the vanity. The distances to the walls show up.

How do I draw a floor plan of my bathroom? Measure the room, place what is plumbed in, then check the clearances.
