Wall and picture hanging, front view plan, to scale
Arrange frames, a mirror, a shelf or a TV on a wall.
The plan opens on "Wall seen from the front", a 4.20 m (13' 9") by 2.44 m (8' 0") rectangle (10.25 m² (110 sq ft)) that you correct to your own measurements. Already in place: sofa (front view), large canvas, 2 × picture frame, 2 × small frame, electrical outlet, light switch.
No account needed, right away.
How to use it
- The outline is the wall seen from the front: give it its real width and height before placing anything.
- Place the furniture that stands in front of the wall, then the frames: aim for the centre of the group at 145 cm from the floor.
- Keep 5 to 8 cm between the frames of a group.
- Add dimensions to transfer the position of each hook to the wall.
What Planimonde calculates for this plan
- The length of each side, written along the line and corrected with one click.
- The area of each closed outline and of each zone you mark out.
- Wall thickness: your measurements apply to the inside, the outside or the centre line, as you choose.
- The closing gap when on-site measurements contradict each other, and where it lies.
- The clearance to leave in front of each item, to suggest other layouts without overlap.
- The scale of the PDF, with a reference bar to check with a ruler once the page is printed.
