Flooring plan, to scale
The area to cover and the material take-off.
The plan opens on "Floor to cover", an irregular 6-sided outline of 24.84 m² (267 sq ft) with no right angle: the proof that nothing forces you into a rectangle. Its line (wall) is 12 cm thick. Already in place: door, plank flooring area, 2 × box of flooring, transition strip.
No account needed, right away.
How to use it
- Draw the exact outline of the floor, nooks included: the area shows in the centre.
- Stretch a plank or tile area to see the laying direction.
- Add 5 to 10% of waste to the area before counting the boxes.
What Planimonde calculates for this plan
- The length of each side, written along the line and corrected with one click.
- The area of each closed outline and of each zone you mark out.
- Wall thickness: your measurements apply to the inside, the outside or the centre line, as you choose.
- The closing gap when on-site measurements contradict each other, and where it lies.
- The clearance to leave in front of each item, to suggest other layouts without overlap.
- The scale of the PDF, with a reference bar to check with a ruler once the page is printed.
