Painting plan, to scale
The wall area to paint and the number of litres.
The plan opens on "Wall to paint", a 4.50 m (14' 9") by 2.44 m (8' 0") rectangle (10.98 m² (118 sq ft)) that you correct to your own measurements. Already in place: door (front view), casement window (front view), baseboard, electrical outlet.
No account needed, right away.
How to use it
- The outline is the wall seen from the front: give it its real width and height before placing anything.
- Place the doors and windows at their size: subtract their area from the wall's.
- Duplicate the plan for each wall, then add up the areas.
- Allow about one litre per 10 square metres per coat.
What Planimonde calculates for this plan
- The length of each side, written along the line and corrected with one click.
- The area of each closed outline and of each zone you mark out.
- Wall thickness: your measurements apply to the inside, the outside or the centre line, as you choose.
- The closing gap when on-site measurements contradict each other, and where it lies.
- The clearance to leave in front of each item, to suggest other layouts without overlap.
- The scale of the PDF, with a reference bar to check with a ruler once the page is printed.
