Private dock plan, to scale
The gangway, the dock sections and the mooring in front of a waterfront lot.
The plan opens on "Waterfront lot", a 20.00 m (65' 7") by 8.00 m (26' 3") rectangle (160.00 m² (1,722 sq ft)) that you correct to your own measurements. Already in place: body of water, gangway, 2 × floating dock section, motorboat.
No account needed, right away.
How to use it
- Draw the shore and stretch the body of water in front of the lot.
- Place the gangway from the shore, then the dock sections end to end.
- Put the boat alongside the dock to check the mooring length.
- Measure the distance between the dock and the lot lines extended over the water.
What Planimonde calculates for this plan
- The length of each side, written along the line and corrected with one click.
- The area of the lot and of each zone, with the total per owner.
- The thickness of fences, hedges and low walls, on one side or the other of the measured line.
- The closing gap when on-site measurements contradict each other, and where it lies.
- The clearance to leave in front of each item, to suggest other layouts without overlap.
- The scale of the PDF, with a reference bar to check with a ruler once the page is printed.
