Wood deck plan, to scale
The frame of a deck: footings, beams, joists, boards and stairs.
The plan opens on "Deck", a 4.90 m (16' 1") by 3.70 m (12' 2") rectangle (18.13 m² (195 sq ft)) that you correct to your own measurements. Already in place: deck frame (joists 40 cm on centre), 6 × footing (screw pile or concrete tube), outdoor stairs.
No account needed, right away.
How to use it
- Draw the deck starting from the wall of the house.
- Stretch the frame to the size of the deck: the joists reposition themselves every 40 cm (16 in).
- Place a footing under each beam, about every 2 m (6 ft).
- Add the stairs and the railings, required above 60 cm (24 in).
- The area of the deck gives the quantity of boards.
