Curtains and blinds plan, to scale
Rods, curtains and blinds placed on a wall seen from the front.
The plan opens on "Wall seen from the front", a 5.00 m (16' 5") by 2.44 m (8' 0") rectangle (12.20 m² (131 sq ft)) that you correct to your own measurements. Already in place: 2 × casement window (front view), curtains, curtain rod, blind.
No account needed, right away.
How to use it
- The outline is the wall seen from the front: give it its real width and height before placing anything.
- Place the windows at their size and height.
- Extend the rod 15 to 25 cm past each side and set it 10 to 15 cm above the frame.
- A blind mounted inside the frame is ordered at the exact width of the opening, less half a centimetre of play.
What Planimonde calculates for this plan
- The length of each side, written along the line and corrected with one click.
- The area of each closed outline and of each zone you mark out.
- Wall thickness: your measurements apply to the inside, the outside or the centre line, as you choose.
- The closing gap when on-site measurements contradict each other, and where it lies.
- The clearance to leave in front of each item, to suggest other layouts without overlap.
- The scale of the PDF, with a reference bar to check with a ruler once the page is printed.
