Tool chest and workshop wall plan, to scale
Pegboard, rails, shelves and workbench seen from the front.
The plan opens on "Workshop wall", a 3.00 m (9' 10") by 2.44 m (8' 0") rectangle (7.32 m² (79 sq ft)) that you correct to your own measurements. Already in place: workbench (front view), tool chest (front view), pegboard (front view), 3 × hanging tool, tool rail, hardware bins…
No account needed, right away.
How to use it
- The outline is the wall seen from the front: give it its real width and height before placing anything.
- Place the workbench and the chest on the floor, then the pegboard just above the bench.
- Keep the tools you use most within reach, between 90 and 150 cm from the floor.
- Keep the top of the wall for shelves and what you rarely use.
What Planimonde calculates for this plan
- The length of each side, written along the line and corrected with one click.
- The area of each closed outline and of each zone you mark out.
- Wall thickness: your measurements apply to the inside, the outside or the centre line, as you choose.
- The closing gap when on-site measurements contradict each other, and where it lies.
- The clearance to leave in front of each item, to suggest other layouts without overlap.
- The scale of the PDF, with a reference bar to check with a ruler once the page is printed.
