Fixed grid of a venue plan, to scale
The technical grid at the ceiling: pipes, rigging points, loads.
The plan opens on "Room", a 16.00 m (52' 6") by 12.00 m (39' 4") rectangle (192.00 m² (2,067 sq ft)) that you correct to your own measurements. Its line (wall) is 20 cm thick. Already in place: 4 × pipe or truss, 2 × rigging point, 2 × ellipsoidal spotlight, 2 × par 64.
No account needed, right away.
How to use it
- Draw the room, then each pipe of the grid at its real position.
- Name the pipes (P1, P2…) and note their maximum load in the name.
- Place the fixtures: each one's weight is used to check the load per pipe.
What Planimonde calculates for this plan
- The length of each side, written along the line and corrected with one click.
- The area of each closed outline and of each zone you mark out.
- Wall thickness: your measurements apply to the inside, the outside or the centre line, as you choose.
- The closing gap when on-site measurements contradict each other, and where it lies.
- The clearance to leave in front of each item, to suggest other layouts without overlap.
- The scale of the PDF, with a reference bar to check with a ruler once the page is printed.
