12 V electrical for a boat plan, to scale
Starting and house batteries, charger, bilge pump, lights.
The plan opens on "Hull", an irregular 7-sided outline of 18.30 m² (197 sq ft) with no right angle: the proof that nothing forces you into a rectangle. Its line (line) is 4 cm thick. Already in place: 2 × 12 v battery, battery switch, fuse block, engine alternator, shore power or campsite inlet, shore power charger…
No account needed, right away.
How to use it
- Redraw the hull: click it, then drag its points.
- Place the batteries, the battery switch and the appliances.
- Pick the Link tool (L key): click one symbol, then another. A click on empty space adds a bend.
- Give each wire its gauge in the link panel.
- With nothing selected, the plan panel gives the total length of each link type.
