Film set plan, to scale
Set, cameras, dolly track, lighting and video village.
The plan opens on "Studio", a 15.00 m (49' 3") by 12.00 m (39' 4") rectangle (180.00 m² (1,938 sq ft)) that you correct to your own measurements. Its line (wall) is 25 cm thick. Already in place: 3 × scenery flat, set furniture, dolly track, camera on tripod, softbox, video village.
No account needed, right away.
How to use it
- Build the set with flats, then furnish it.
- Place the camera and turn it toward the scene; add dolly track if it moves.
- Place the lights out of frame, then the video village off to the side.
- Duplicate the plan for each camera angle.
What Planimonde calculates for this plan
- The length of each side, written along the line and corrected with one click.
- The area of each closed outline and of each zone you mark out.
- Wall thickness: your measurements apply to the inside, the outside or the centre line, as you choose.
- The closing gap when on-site measurements contradict each other, and where it lies.
- The clearance to leave in front of each item, to suggest other layouts without overlap.
- The scale of the PDF, with a reference bar to check with a ruler once the page is printed.
