Gallery and museum plan, to scale
Display walls, artworks, plinths, display cases and the visitor's route.
The plan opens on "Exhibition hall", a 14.00 m (45' 11") by 9.00 m (29' 6") rectangle (126.00 m² (1,356 sq ft)) that you correct to your own measurements. Its line (wall) is 15 cm thick. Already in place: 3 × wall-hung artwork, 2 × display wall, plinth, gallery bench, museum display case, double door.
No account needed, right away.
How to use it
- Place artworks along the walls: they snap to the nearest wall.
- Add display walls to create a route, then plinths and display cases.
- Keep 1.5 m of viewing distance in front of each work and a 1.2 m passage for a wheelchair.
What Planimonde calculates for this plan
- The length of each side, written along the line and corrected with one click.
- The area of each closed outline and of each zone you mark out.
- Wall thickness: your measurements apply to the inside, the outside or the centre line, as you choose.
- The closing gap when on-site measurements contradict each other, and where it lies.
- The clearance to leave in front of each item, to suggest other layouts without overlap.
- The scale of the PDF, with a reference bar to check with a ruler once the page is printed.
