How to use it

  1. Adjust the building first: click a wall, then correct its lengths in the panel on the right.
  2. Place the outdoor unit outside, then the indoor units.
  3. Pick the Link tool (L key): click one symbol, then another. A click on empty space adds a bend.
  4. The length of each refrigerant line is shown in its panel.
  5. With nothing selected, the plan panel gives the total length of each link type.

What this plan is, and what it is not

Sketch of intent. Handling refrigerants and making the electrical connection are reserved for qualified contractors; this plan does not replace a heating and cooling load calculation. Also check municipal rules on noise and on where the outdoor unit may go.
