Apiary plan, to scale
The location of the hives, their orientation, the water and the distances to respect.
The plan opens on "Lot", a 20.00 m (65' 7") by 15.00 m (49' 3") rectangle (300.00 m² (3,229 sq ft)) that you correct to your own measurements. Already in place: hedge section, 4 × beehive, bee waterer, flowering shrub, shed.
No account needed, right away.
How to use it
- Draw the lot, the neighbouring houses and the public road.
- Place the hives with the entrance facing southeast, sheltered from the prevailing wind.
- Measure the distance from each hive to the road and to the dwellings.
- Add a water point within 10 m (30 ft) and a windbreak behind the hives.
What Planimonde calculates for this plan
- The length of each side, written along the line and corrected with one click.
- The area of the lot and of each zone, with the total per owner.
- The thickness of fences, hedges and low walls, on one side or the other of the measured line.
- The closing gap when on-site measurements contradict each other, and where it lies.
- The clearance to leave in front of each item, to suggest other layouts without overlap.
- The scale of the PDF, with a reference bar to check with a ruler once the page is printed.
