Climbing wall plan, to scale
A wall seen from the front: panels, holds, volumes and routes to set.
The plan opens on "Wall seen from the front", a 4.88 m (16' 0") by 3.66 m (12' 0") rectangle (17.86 m² (192 sq ft)) that you correct to your own measurements. Already in place: 4 × climbing wall panel, 2 × jug hold, 4 × climbing hold, climbing volume, top anchor, crash pad.
No account needed, right away.
How to use it
- Give the wall its width and its height: the plan is read from the front, with the floor at the bottom.
- Place the panels side by side.
- Place the holds of a route, then give them all the same colour in their properties.
- Add the volumes, the top anchor of each route and the mats at the foot of the wall.
What Planimonde calculates for this plan
- The length of each side, written along the line and corrected with one click.
- The area of each closed outline and of each zone you mark out.
- Wall thickness: your measurements apply to the inside, the outside or the centre line, as you choose.
- The closing gap when on-site measurements contradict each other, and where it lies.
- The clearance to leave in front of each item, to suggest other layouts without overlap.
- The scale of the PDF, with a reference bar to check with a ruler once the page is printed.
