Shipping container plan, to scale
Loading a 20 or 40 ft container: pallets and securing.
The plan opens on "20 ft container", a 5.90 m (19' 4") by 2.35 m (7' 9") rectangle (13.87 m² (149 sq ft)) that you correct to your own measurements. Its line (wall) is 4 cm thick. Already in place: rear doors, 6 × loaded pallet, cargo bar, pallet jack.
No account needed, right away.
How to use it
- Choose the container: 20 or 40 feet, standard height or high cube.
- Two North American pallets fit side by side across the width, with 2 cm to spare.
- Load from the far end (on the left) and brace the last row.
What Planimonde calculates for this plan
- The length of each side, written along the line and corrected with one click.
- The area of each closed outline and of each zone you mark out.
- Wall thickness: your measurements apply to the inside, the outside or the centre line, as you choose.
- The closing gap when on-site measurements contradict each other, and where it lies.
- The clearance to leave in front of each item, to suggest other layouts without overlap.
- The scale of the PDF, with a reference bar to check with a ruler once the page is printed.
