Camper van plan, to scale
The cargo area, the bed, the kitchen, the storage.
The plan opens on "Cargo area", a 3.30 m (10' 10") by 1.78 m (5' 10") rectangle (5.87 m² (63 sq ft)) that you correct to your own measurements. Its line (wall) is 4 cm thick. Already in place: crosswise bed, kitchen unit.
No account needed, right away.
How to use it
- Choose your vehicle (make, model, years, length and roof): the cargo area, wheel wells and doors place themselves.
- Place the bed first: crosswise if the width allows, lengthwise otherwise.
- Put the kitchen near the side door, then water and batteries near the rear axle.
- Add the fan, hatches and solar panels: they are drawn dashed, on the roof.
What Planimonde calculates for this plan
- The length of each side, written along the line and corrected with one click.
- The area of each closed outline and of each zone you mark out.
- Wall thickness: your measurements apply to the inside, the outside or the centre line, as you choose.
- The closing gap when on-site measurements contradict each other, and where it lies.
- The clearance to leave in front of each item, to suggest other layouts without overlap.
- The scale of the PDF, with a reference bar to check with a ruler once the page is printed.
