Renovation, before and after plan, to scale
The current state and the project, side by side, at the same scale.
The plan opens on "Before", a 4.00 m (13' 1") by 3.50 m (11' 6") rectangle (14.00 m² (151 sq ft)) that you correct to your own measurements. Its line (wall) is 12 cm thick. Already in place: 2 × door, 3 × window, 2 × counter, 2 × stove, round table, island.
No account needed, right away.
How to use it
- First draw the room as it is, in the “Before” outline.
- Reproduce it in “After”, then remove or move the partitions and fixtures.
- Before taking down a partition, have someone check whether it is load-bearing.
- Export the plan to scale as a PDF to print it or hand it to a contractor.
What Planimonde calculates for this plan
- The length of each side, written along the line and corrected with one click.
- The area of each closed outline and of each zone you mark out.
- Wall thickness: your measurements apply to the inside, the outside or the centre line, as you choose.
- The closing gap when on-site measurements contradict each other, and where it lies.
- The clearance to leave in front of each item, to suggest other layouts without overlap.
- The scale of the PDF, with a reference bar to check with a ruler once the page is printed.
